Goregous Day at the Grand Canyon!

Each year, we like to celebrate our

wedding anniversary by going away on

little get-a-ways! This year we decided to explore

Northern Arizona, which is absolutely beautiful!

We have taken this trip before, but we enjoyed

it so much more this time, especially since we

had our little man with us! We realize more

and more how beautiful and how much

there really is to do in AZ!

Being outdoors people. . .we LOVE it!!!

It was such a goregous day. . .sunny and clear skies!

Such a small world! We met people from Iowa who grew up where

Jason did and know people we know! How crazy is that?!?!?

We were driving and saw this deer eating along side

the road. It was about 10 feet from us! So neat to see it

so close. If you look, you can see another deer in the background!

A little while later, we saw this group of Elk also eating

along side the road. So many fun things to see!

Relax Time!

After all the fun-filled days we had, we would

relax in the hotel's heated pool and jacuzzi,

which was soooooooo nice! Isaac loves to

go swimming so this was an extra special treat

for him, especially since Papa makes it so fun!

We LOVE Sedona, AZ!!!

Jason and I have visited Sedona, AZ many times

together and it is always such a great visit.

It holds such special memories for us

and it's a nice getaway, especially if you

enjoy the outdoors! Being able to share

this visit with our son, made this trip to Sedona

another special memory that we will always

enjoy! We already talk about our next

visit and what we will do then!

So many fun places to explore there!!!

These pictures are so beautiful, but it has to be

experienced and enjoyed in person to get the full effect!

It is such a peaceful and spiritual place for us. We are

always so relaxed while we are there!

During a hike, we discovered a secluded area with water!

No one else was around, which was great for us as

we got to enjoy the area all by ourselves!

Now we know where we can go, have a nice

picnic and go fishing without a bunch of people around!

Exploring Tuzigoot

We love exploring, especially historical stuff, like old

Indian ruins. This was our 2nd visit to Tuzigoot

and we learned so much about the Indians who

built it and once lived there!
