Fun with Papa!!! :-)

Watching my boys together fills my heart and soul with the most beautiful energy! I feel such happiness and love, I simply don't know how to put into words. It feels absolutely wonderful and puts the BIGGEST smile on my face to see my son and my husband playing together. . .
it just melts my heart!

I am glad I am able to capture those special

memories between my son and his Papa. . .

To remember and cherish and to look back on

and smile over and over again!

My life is complete with my boys. . .

I am blessed!

All these great toys, but playing with Papa is the BEST!!!

Already a natural!!! Jas handed Isaac the basketball and Isaac immediately started walking over to the hoop and reached for the basket. I'm sure Isaac knows what to do, thanks to all those sports channels and sports games he watches with his Papa! Not too mention, all the sports stuff he and Papa do together!

ISAAC'S 1st BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

On Saturday, September 6th, we celebrated Isaac's First Birthday at a local park with family and friends! It was such a fun day, however VERY hot outside! Need to remember that we are now living in AZ and not IA!!!

Luckily, there was a Splash Pad close to the ramada, that has many fun ways to splash water and get wet! The cool water felt soooooo good! Aside from the heat, we had a blast! However, I have informed Jason that no more birthday parties outdoors during the summer! Our next child will have a winter birthday!!! :-] It was a good learning experience for us, but we still had a very nice time celebrating with everyone! LOTS and LOTS of wonderful memories for Isaac!!!

Singing Happy Birthday to Isaac! His first smash cake was a yummy dark chocolate with dark chocolate frosting!

Had to remove the birthday candle as Isaac kept reaching for it! Poor guy actually touched it and had a small blister the next day! Didn't realize it until we saw it! He's a tough little dude!

Our little water baby! Isaac LOVES to get wet and stood under the water for so long! It was so cute! Perhaps it felt so good, especially since it was so hot outside that day!

Isaac and his buddy, Ben! They are about 6 weeks apart. Jason and I feel so blessed to have so many good friends with children close to Isaac's age that he will grow up with! He's a lucky boy!!!

The poor teddy bear cake is melting! This is what happens when it's 100+ degrees outside! The cake was still sooooooooo yummy, though! The heat made it nice and warm and it was super moist because I had just made it that morning. It was a big hit with the guests!!!

The food - we kept it simple! Hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, chips/dip, veggies and fruit!

The guests - our family and friends! We had a nice turnout, 49 out of the 57 invited were there! We know a lot of people!!! It sounds like a lot, but that included kids too! It was just perfect and the kids had fun on the playground and at the Splash Pad! Next party will be inside where it is nice and air conditioned!!! Live and Learn! :-]
